Lisa Walker, Ph.D., MCC
Dr. Lisa Walker is an executive coach, people and business relationship strategist and professional speaker, working closely with corporate leaders to help them grow strategically and tactically from both a personal and organizational perspective. She is known for her strong background in building positive workplace relationships, facilitating difficult conversations, team building and successful coach relationships and results. Her signature strengths are being able to provide the right blend of challenge and support for each client and developing the partnership and focus that are essential to her executive coaching and consulting clients.
Dr. Walker holds a doctorate in psychology from UT Austin, is a Columbia University Business School Certified Executive Coach, and a Marshall Goldsmith Certified Behavioral Coach (individual and team). She served on the faculty at the University of Texas at Austin, in the Department of Human Development. She currently serves as a mentor at the IC2 Institute at the University of Texas at Austin. She is certified to administer and interpret a number of leadership assessment tools including; MBTI, Hogan, Berkman, EQi, Neethling Brain Instrument and Total SDI.
Lisa brings over 15 years’ experience to coaching challenging issues and helping successful leaders at all levels of the organization achieve positive long-term change in their behavior, for themselves, their teams and organization. She combines her experience as a psychologist, certified mediator, and collaborative law facilitator to enable meaningful growth and change, aligned with her client’s business and personal goals. As a coach, she specializes in helping leaders stretch beyond their habitual thinking, relating and problem-solving patterns. Lisa enjoys helping her clients expand their awareness, articulate a clear vision of the future, build positive work relationships and work climates, and excel at work and life.
Dr. Walker speaks at conferences and provides training and workshops on enhancing Emotional and Conversational Intelligence as the foundation for leadership, Living Beyond Your limits, Harnessing the Gift of Conflict and Building Positive Workplace Relationships. She is currently working on her book: Leadership Lessons from Mount Kilimanjaro.
