Carrie’s award-winning book MiniTrends: How Innovators & Entrepreneurs Discover & Profit From Business & Technology Trends, co-authored with Dr. John Vanston, focuses on the importance of a growth-oriented mindset for success, happiness, and fulfillment. Carrie also directed the MiniTrends Project and the popular MiniTrends Conference Series for Technology Futures Inc. (TFI) for three years.
More recently, Carrie led Corporate Cultures That Rock (CCTR) where she helped business leaders build engaged, innovative, and transformational organizations. Her article "Five Keys to an Engaged and Innovative Culture" was one of the top 5 most read articles of the year in Texas CEO Magazine. Her "Crucial Keys to a Thriving Business Culture" was included Austin's National Speakers Association anthology.
Previous to CCTR, she was Vice President of Communications and Marketing and Media Director for TFI.
Carrie enjoys speaking on being a more self-aware, connected, and visionary leader. She has presented at the World Futures Society, IEEE, University of Texas SAGE Program, World Affairs Council, Six Square, Business Success Center, RISE, HIREDTexas, West Point Society, Morgan Stanley, Laurea University, Finland, BiGAUSTIN, Launch Pad, Product Camp, and others.
She is Vice President of Ambassadors at the Association of Corporate Growth; a National Advisor at the Academy of Culture Ambassadors; an Academy member at National Speakers Association; an Affiliate at the International Coaching Federation, and a member of the Austin Technology Council.
Carrie is a Certified Professional Executive Coach through the 9-month, top-rated Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching in association with The University of Texas at Austin. She is also a Khorus CEO Performance Software Certified Consultant and an Energy Leadership Master Practitioner. She received her Geography degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
On the personal side, she loves to dance, travel, and spend time with her two children.
